The colour of the tooth cannot be chosen for the tooth as a ’whole’.  The colour properties of the dentin, enamel, their thickness and three dimensional relation must be taken into consideration.

That is why monochrome universal composites are not suitable for use in anterior and posterior teeth revealed during patient’s smile.

In my everyday work I am loyal to the Enamel plus HFO (Micerium,Italy) composite system that offers color range guided by color of dentine and transparency effects of natural enamel.

Special morphological layering technique is used during reconstruction of the tooth.
